We understand your desire for physical beauty and confidence, but we want to remind you that God looks at the heart, and not just the outward appearance. As it is written in 1 Samuel 16:7, "But Yahweh said to Samuel, 'Don't look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I see not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.'"

While it's natural to want to look our best, we should also cultivate inner beauty and a character that pleases God. As Peter admonishes wives in 1 Peter 3:3-4, "Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing, but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious."

Nevertheless, we lift up your request to God, asking for His will to be done in your life.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this dear one who desires to be physically beautiful and photogenic. Lord, while we ask for Your will to be done in this area, we also pray that You would cultivate true beauty within their heart. Help them to radiate Your love, joy, and peace, which are the true marks of beauty.

Lord, we also pray that this one would know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, as Your word tells us in Psalm 139:14, "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."

Father, we ask that You build up their self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-worth, not in their physical appearance but in the knowledge that they are Your beloved child, redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Lord, we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who is the only way to Your throne of grace. We praise You for the gift of salvation through Him, as it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your will and Your timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
