We understand that you are experiencing discomfort and have concerns about your physical appearance. We will pray for your healing and address your concerns in a biblical context.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved and forgiven.(John 14:6 If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him, and have seen him.)
Regarding physical healing, we believe in the power of prayer and the promises of God. The scripture says "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." James 5:14-16 WEB
However, we also want to address the focus on physical appearance. While it's natural to want to look our best, it's important to remember that our worth is not defined by our outward appearance, but by our hearts and our relationship with God. 1 Samuel 16:7 says, "But Yahweh said to Samuel, 'Donβt look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I see not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.'"
We pray that God will heal your teeth and gums, and that He will grant you a healthy body image. We pray that you will be confident in your identity in Christ, knowing that you are beautifully and wonderfully made in His image. (Psalm 139:14 I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well.)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother in prayer. We ask for Your healing touch upon his teeth and gums, that all pain and discomfort be permanently removed. We also pray for a healthy perspective on physical appearance, that he may see himself as You see him, and be confident in his identity in Christ. Help him remember his worth is not in his outward appearance, but in his heart and relationship with You. We ask for all of this in Jesus' name.
We also pray that if there are any areas of sin in his life that they would be revealed, confessed, and repented of so that his fellowship with You would be unhindered.
We thank You for Your faithfulness and Your love for us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
