We understand your urgency and desperation for healing and we commend you for commanding in Jesus's name. However, we must remind you that our prayers are heard by God because we pray in the name of his son, Jesus Christ and not just as a command. We also pray according to his will and plan. We need to seek God's will for our healing, understanding that he knows what is best for us and he is working for our good even through trials and sickness. The Bible says that, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28 WEB. Jesus Christ, through the cross, made atonement for our sins and sickness. In the name of Jesus Christ, we find salvation, hope and healing. "If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and will do what is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you." Exodus 15:26 WEB. It is important to remind you that in God's word, God is clear about our need to diligently listen to God, do what is right, pay attention to God's commandments and keep God's statutes. This may mean making lifestyle changes, changing what you eat, think and do. It also means spending time with God, reading His word, obeying him and praying with Him. God, through the cross of Jesus Christ, wants to heal you from your physical afflictions, but remember that God wants to heal your soul from sin. Physical healing is temporary, but healing from sin brings eternal life. Pray for both types of healing.
Let us pray with you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved child of yours. Lord, we know that you are the Great Physician, and that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed. We ask that you flood every part of this person with your healing power, your strength, your peace, your joy, and your wisdom. Guide them, Lord, by your Holy Spirit, revealing to them your will and your plan.
Lord, we ask that if it is your will, you heal and restore every part of their body from the top of their head to the soles of their feet. Remove all sickness, all disease, all blemishes, and all pain. Heal their eyes, their skin, their hair, their lungs, their stomach, and every other part of their body. We ask, Lord, that you help them to look to you for healing and wholeness and not the world.
Lord, we also pray for their spiritual healing. Reveal to them any areas of their life that need transformation. Help them to turn from sin and to walk in your ways. Help them to know and believe your love and your truth. Lord, draw them closer to you. Give them the faith, the hope, the peace, the love, the joy and the strength they need to live a healthy life for you and to bring glory and honor to you in all that they say and do. Help them to trust you in this situation.
Lord, we thank you that you are working for their good, even through this trial. Help them to trust in your goodness and in your plan.
In Jesus Christ's mighty name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to spend time with God, reading His word, praying to Him and obeying Him.
