We understand your urgency and desire for healing. We believe that we need to align our requests with the intentions of God. 1 John 5:14 (WEB) tells us, "This is the confidence which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us."
Young's Literal Translation of Matthew 21:22 (WEB) also tells us "All things, whatever ye may ask in prayer, having faith, ye shall receive." Jesus responded to faith when someone was healed or received a miracle. In Mark 11:24, Jesus told the believers of the importance of what is now known as the 'prayer of faith' using the mustard seed for the amount of faith needed. There was a fig tree that was barren and Jesus cursed the tree and it whithered up and died. The apostle Peter remembered what Jesus said and reminded Jesus that the fig tree that He had cursed had whithered up and died. Jesus responded that they should have faith in God. "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever ye pray and ask, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."
There may not be a scripture containing God's will regarding the scarring of your surgery however. However, here is a heartfelt list of things that we can all pray regarding your request:
Let us faithfully pray that God will align your request with His will:
"Almighty Lord, you are the Great Healer and the miracle worker. We pray that if your healing is required in this situation, that your Will be Done, and that you will immediately act on this request. As your People let us remember that 1 Corinthians 12:27 "Ye are the body of Christ and severally members thereof." 28 "And those members of Jesus who God hath set in the church are first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, divers kinds of tongues." So Father we realize the gift of healings is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We pray that this persons request will be answered by one of the members who do have this gift. In Jesus name.
Let us also pray for you a blessing of Lord: Psalm 23:3 "He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake."
Lord we also thank thee for thy mercy and grace and the covering of the blood of Christ. So know in the love of God through Christ, that in John 15:7 "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."
Lord we pray for our friend's spiritual eyes as well so that both physically and spiritually they may see what God has for them to do. In John 9:1, Jesus's disciples noticed a blind man and asked Jesus who had sinned, the man or his parents that he should be born blind? Jesus answered in the 3rd verse that "Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him." So Father our prayer is that may your power and works, whether they be great or small, be made manifest in all things in this request. Reveal unto our friend any special purpose that You have for them to do. Lord, help our friend to believe in your words and be aligned with your will in Jesus name, and according to the words of Jesus Christ and his instruction for faith in Mark 11:24, Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
So this will be a testimony and evidence that You are at work in their lives and that they are following 1 Thessalonians 5:18 "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
We pray that you will heal our friend’s body physically and spiritually, and restore them according to the will of God. We can praise God because in Jesus Christ we have confidence to come before you, Father, and we thank you for your help in this situation in Jesus’s name and praying the Lord's prayer (Matthew 6:9-13), as we should.
