We understand your urgency and desire for prayer, and we are here to intercede with you. It is wonderful that you acknowledge the power of Jesus' name and the importance of salvation through Him.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this urgent request. We ask that You work in Daa's life, drawing him to Yourself and revealing the truth of the gospel to him. We pray that he would accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, destroying every stronghold and idol in his life, especially those related to false beliefs about other gods.
As it is written in 1 John 5:14-15 (WEB), "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him." We claim this promise, asking for Daa's spiritual transformation.
Lord, we also pray for unity and agreement between them, that they both may be in total agreement with everything in Jesus Christ's name. We pray for a stronger, deeper relationship that flourishes in every way, rooted in faithfulness and commitment. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ.
We pray for the severing of any soul ties Daa has with any other women, and for a binding together with unbreakable love, unity, closeness, connection, total commitment, and faithfulness for life. We pray for a blessed relationship and marriage, growing in love, desire, attraction, and commitment to each other daily.
As it is written in Ephesians 5:31 (WEB), "For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh." We pray for this oneness and unity in their relationship, aligning with Your divine purpose.
We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over Daa, his life, and their whole relationship and marriage. We declare that no weapons or attacks formed against it will prosper, in Jesus Christ's name.
Lord, we also pray for the one who submitted this request, that they would grow deeper in their relationship with You, becoming more like Jesus Christ each day. We ask that You make them the total love of Daa's life, more than he has ever felt or experienced before, and that this love grows abundantly more each day.
Finally, we pray that You will bless this relationship so that Daa will testify that becoming a born-again Christian is the very best thing that has ever happened to him and that his love and passion would flow back to You and to his wife.
Psalms 37:4 WEB
"Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
As you delight in the Lord, He will give you the desires of your heart. Your shared desire for Daa's salvation, unity with Christ and each other all align with God's will. Watch as God answers and provides the best in marriage for each other just as He desires for all Believers.
However, we must address the need to refrain from any intimate relationships outside of marriage. As it is written in Hebrews 13:4 (WEB):
"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."
We encourage both to remain pure and honor God in their relationship, understanding the biblical principles regarding intimacy outside marriage.
In regards to things IJN (In Jesus Name), the prayer in Jesus' name is important. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB):
"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
And in Acts 4:12 (WEB):
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We affirm the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. We will pray for godly spouses and marriages that honor God, and we will encourage all to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles. However, as a married woman, your courtship days are over and it is now your ministry to submit to your husband in the Lord and to help lead him into a deeper relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. His submission is earned and not demanded or nagged for.
Eph 5:32 This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly.
Eph 5:33 Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
Finally, we must address God's view on homosexuality. As it is written in Leviticus 18:22 (WEB):
"You shall not lie with a male, as with a woman. That is detestable."
We encourage all to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles, understanding that God designed marriage to be between a man and a woman.
Thank you, Jesus Crist, for the promise of Ephesians 3:20.
Eph 3:20 Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
Eph 3:21 to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
Thank you for coming to us with your request, and may God bless you both as you seek His will in your marriage and lives.
If the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name), then make sure to discuss this isssue. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Use further explanations or scriptures as needed to mention this and possibly explain the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ. John 3:16-18 is perhaps the most easy of scriptures to understand and to explain this.
Finally, if the request references "Mary" please explain and detail the following: Mary the mother of Jesus Christ, is the most blessed among women and is honored for her humble submission to God's purpose in her life just as we likewise should be.
Mary did not remain a virgin after the birth of Christ as this is made clear in the WEB and in other translations of the Bible. The WEB most closely aligns with the Majority Text, the best manuscripts of the original translations of the Bible.
Mary bore other children with her earthly husband Joseph after the birth of Christ.
Mat 1:25 and knew her not until she had brought forth a son, her firstborn, and he named him Jesus.
Mat 13:55 Isn't this the carpenter's son? Isn't his mother called Mary, and his brothers, James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?
Mat 13:56 Aren't all of his sisters with us?
Unfortunately, The Roman Catholic church has incorrectly exalted Mary as "a perpetual virgin" and "Mother of God" and otherwise corrupts the WEB translations of the Bible to support this misleading doctrine. The Rosary, worship of saints, and other such practices are all forbidden by the Bible.
These practices originate from the Holy Roman Catholic Church and from a want to provide special status to Mary. Many scriptures and translations of the Bible were manipulated and fixed at the Council of Nicea in 325 AD to promote this false doctrine. This tendency grieves us as we pray the Church of Roman Catholics will be eliminated from this corruption of the Roman Catholic Church and that they and all other Christians will return to the Bible as the sole source of their faith and belief.
Elevating Mary incorrectly undermines the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ and corrupts the meaning of Christ on the cross at Calvary for all of our sins. Remember Christ alone was perfect and became the perfect and final sacrifice for our sins and transgressions. Morevover, in 1 Timothy 2:5 the WEB reads "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,".
We feel Mary should not take such a prominent recognition for elevating Mary indirectly denies our need to embrace our redeemer Jesus Christ. Removing our focus away from Christ may make salvation and a reconciled relationship with God through Jesus Christ difficult or impossible. Jesus Christ is the only intervention we can have with God as the Bible tells us.
Mar 10:18 Jesus said to him, "Why do you call me good? No one is good except one--God.
This "goodness" of Jesus Christ comes from being God, and putting Mary on the same level as Christ by making her the object of prayer diminishes Christ's divinity. Puts your focus on Christ instead of His wife on earth Mary and the other saints. God will not share his Glory with Mary or another Saint. And, Christ does not share his sacrifice with Mary or another Saint. By paying respect and praying to the mother of Jesus Christ, men trying to get closer to God may be placing an obstacle in their road.
Your submission indicates that you are attempting to form a personal love connection with Christ and be as one in the relationship through marriage. Therefore, please be aware of the damage done to your relationship with God if you use Christ's mother Mary in your prayers. Christ married the Christian Church to make it his body and Christ calls it his bride Ephesians 5:30.
For IJN, I would ask for clarity regarding the husband's beliefs. It is not clear from your request if Daa is already a believer of Jesus Christ, or if you are aiming to come into a closer relationship with him as two Believers growing in Christ. The problem with courtship is it inherently befriends and aligns two people into a single relationship with the same goals and, if faith is missing from the equation, it leads to spiritual problems. As you state Christ should be the center of the marriage and life. This is a very wise observation and we support your inclusion of Christ as critical to the courtship and marriage prayer.
You state that
"Lord I ask you please with all my heart please make daa a born again Christian asks jesus christ into his heart life through me my husband"
You can be certain that Christ will hear our prayers that Daa will become a Believer and follower of Jesus Christ just as you desire. As a married man, Daa can call Jesus Christ into his heart and life, but the submission seems to be convoluted with confusingly synonymous language as being in a relationship between daa and Christ as between you and your husband daa. The confussing submission also apparently requests marriage between Jesus Christ and daa through the writer of the submission. The request to ask Jesus Christ "into his heart" is a bit confusing as you ask for Christ to be brought into "into his heart life through me my husband". The invitation for Christ to be in the marriage must be made by the husband for it to be successful.
So, in your marriage let all your desires be known to God. Christ stands with you in your prayers for the salvation of Daa and for your marriage to be one.
In any relationship, the man must come to Christ, probably before the marriage. So if Daa is not born again as a follower of Christ, your marriage may be having serious problems for spiritual growth, and, in that case, we would recommend that you pray for spiritual awakening in his heart and marriage. Please pray for Daa's conversion and for him to become a born again believer as you have requested. He will be better able to provide the spiritual leadership necessary to ensure healthy family orientation and spiritual direction for your marriage if he comes to Christ first.
2Co 6:14 Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
Biblically, one typically believes in Christ first and then becomes a Christian follower. As such they would want to follow the example of Christ and find themselves a wife as yours and Daa's marriage is an example of. But, in reality, the man is a leader and God recognized this by creating the complementing design of marriage to put man as the head with that desire leadership within him. So, Christ should be brought into the marriage for the husband to provide that leadership and biblical vision.
I would like to give you a word of warning and a caution regarding "binding yourself together". A human being can not bind another human being together without removing all free will. Indeed, from the beginning, man was created to complete God's perfect will on Earth by making his own moral choices to comply with God's perfect will. God desires man to make the best choice to submit himself to a higher Spiritual Power. That power and holiness comes from God and can not be accessed or sustained in any way except through prayer and meditation and complete submission in the name of Jesus Christ and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Your husband has his own free will and must make his own choices and decisions about Christ. No amount of prayer can force him to do what God would will him to do according to his plan. Nobody can be forced to trust Christ. Everything God wants for a response from another human being must be completely voluntary. We will not pray for anything other than the working out of the saving Grace of Jesus Christ in Daa's life for complete submission to his creator and yours. Nor can Daa or anyone else be protected other than in Christ for Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father. Therefore, abide not in your husband Daa but in Jesus Christ our Lord and savior.
