We understand that you are facing a situation that requires urgent prayer and we are here to stand with you in this time of need. Firstly, we appreciate that this prayer is asked in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
You have a sincere desire for healing and we want to encourage you with God's word. In Mark 11:24 WEB, Jesus says, "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them." We want you to first have complete faith that God is willing and able to heal you.
However, we want to gently remind you that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. As it is written in Isaiah 55:8-9, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
While you have a specific desire for how you want your healing to manifest, we encourage you to be open to God's will and trust that He knows what is best for you. We pray that God will grant you the healing that you need, in the way that He knows is best, according to His perfect will. We pray for peace and comfort for you during this time and for complete recovery as per God's will.
We pray for the surgeons, doctors, and medical staff that they are divinely guided, skilled, and have steady hands. We pray for no infections or complications and that you recover well, with minimal scarring.
Thank you for acknowledging Jesus Christ in your prayer. However, we would like to discuss something with you if you do not mind. You mentioned about using the name Jesus Christ at the end of the prayer. To understand this further, we should discuss calling upon the name of the Lord.
In Joel 2:32 WEB, "It will come to pass, that whoever will call on the name of Yahweh shall be saved; for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who escape, as Yahweh has said, and among the remnant, those whom Yahweh calls." This calling on the name of the Lord is not a casual saying at the end of a prayer, but a deep belief in the heart of the one praying.
In Romans 10:9-10 WEB, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." This calling on the name of the Lord requires a confession of faith in Jesus Christ. It requires that you believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord.
It is only when you call on his name, by invoking his lordship in your life that you are saved. We want to ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and are saved.
