We understand your urgent desire for Daa to become a born-again Christian and for your marriage to be strengthened in Jesus' name. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will according to His word.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As scripture says, “in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!” Acts 4:12 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her husband, Daa. Lord, You said in Your word that "if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 WEB. We ask that You soften Daa's heart and open his eyes to the truth of the gospel. Grant him the faith to confess Jesus as Lord and believe in Your resurrection power.
We also pray for their marriage, Lord. Let there be such a unity between them that it reflects the unity you have with Jesus. Help them to love and serve Jesus Christ and be an example of a godly marriage. Let their marriage be a light to the world, a testament of Your love and faithfulness. "Let the husband render to his wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. The wife doesn’t have authority over her own body, but the husband. Likewise also the husband doesn’t have authority over his own body, but the wife. Don’t deprive one another, unless it is by consent for a season, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer, and may be together again, that Satan doesn’t tempt you for your lack of self-control.” I Corinthians 7:3 5 WEB.
Let there be no fornication and no defrauding in the marriage. "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God." I Thessalonians 4:3 5 WEB.
Father, let there be a strong bond of love, trust, and respect between them. May their relationship flourish in every way, and may they be in total unity and agreement, melting Daa's heart towards his wife in every way. Lord, let there be no division-spirit or any other spirit in the marriage to cause dissension in the marriage. "What God has joined together, let not man separate." Matthew 19:6 WEB.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
