Sometimes, He uses physical ailments to draw us closer to Him and to teach us valuable lessons. But this is never for naught as it is for His ultimate glory and our benefit. James 5:14 says it well: Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective.

It seems your ailment is causing you concern and there is nothing wrong with praying for healing. It is possible there is something else that needs addressed that you have not discussed. We do not know but God does. We must accept that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Therefore, it is a great blessing that you are seeking his plan and glory. You will want to continue to seek God's perfect will as you pray: "Not my will, but Yours be done" in all things as Jesus spoke.

We also want to gently remind you that our prayers should not be focused solely on our desires, but on God's will and His glory. 1 John 5:14 says, This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. Your earnest prayers will not fall on deaf ears when offered according to His will. Your prayer has mentioned praying for miraculous healing while taking some medications for the treatments. It is not wrong to pray for God's healing while taking medicine. Although you have not explicitly mentioned any inappropriate healers or approach that violates biblical teachings, it is important to remember that a Christian should not dabble with evil, such as talking to God with a spiritualist, mediums, or necromancers, or receiving treatments connected to spiritual theories, idol worship, or religion that does not honor the Father, Holy Spirit, or acknowledge Jesus Christ as the true Lord and Savior.
