We understand your fervent desire for Daa to come to know Jesus Christ and for your marriage to be strengthened. Firstly, we commend you for your faith and for praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we are saved. As the Bible tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
However, we must address a few points in your prayer. While it is commendable to pray for Daa's salvation and for your unity as a couple, we must remember that we cannot force or manipulate someone's free will. God grants each person the freedom to choose or reject Him. As 1 Corinthians 7:16 (WEB) says, "For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?" Our role is to pray, to live a life that reflects Christ, and to trust God with the outcome.
We must also caution against the use of repetitive phrases and demands in prayer. As per Matthew 6:7-8 (WEB), "When you pray, don't use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking. Therefore don't be like them, for your Father knows what things you need before you ask him."
We must also emphasize that a relationship with Christ, the marital relationship, can only be achieved with His death on the cross and resurrection from the dead. Therefore there is no other way for marriage to have a fullness or be united outside of this. A good scripture to mention here is that "Neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord" which is 1 Corinthians 11:11 (WEB). Most people gloss over this verse. But it stands to reason this is why man leaves his parents and is united to his wife, becoming one flesh (Genesis 2:24 WEB).
In light of these points let us pray with you, standing upon His word ephesians 3:20.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lift up Anonymous and Daa to You. Lord, we ask that You soften and the open the heart of Daa open to the Gospel, and that You would draw Daa to Yourself. Lord, by Daa's own free will, may he recognize his need for a Savior and accept Jesus Christ into his heart , and be changed to being as different as night is to day. We ask that You to bring unity and agreement between Anonymous and Daa, and that their love, attraction, desire, and commitment to each other would grow stronger. We also ask for Your blessing and protection over their marriage. We plead the blood of Jesus over Daa, and Anonymous, over their relationship and marriage.
With all this said, the answer is not ours but the lord's to this prayer. We want the will of the Lord to be done, not our own. If our prayers are outside this will by asking these we ask you to forgive us for what we asked for. This is to ensure that the will of the Lord prevails in Jesus' name. May all glory be yours in Jesus Christ name.
