Let's first address the positives of your deeply heartfelt prayer for you and “daa”. You have asked for healing and redemption via making him a “born again Christian”. You also call upon the only name under heaven whereby man may be saved and must be saved in, Jesus. Praying in Jesus’ name is right and good and that the proper relationship with Christ is the most important gift. Further, praying for God’s blessing on a relationship is also biblical and commended, so long as it is according to His will and the teachings of the Bible.
However, we need to address several concerns in your prayer request. First, it's important to understand that while God values our desires, His will and timing are paramount. Our prayers should always align with God's Word and His perfect plan for our lives. Let us remember the bible says that we only ask according to God's will in I John 5 14. This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. I John 5 15. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
Second, be mindful that only believing in Christ and accepting and trusting on Jesus as our savior can we be saved and then be heard by God in our prayers. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Read the following.
Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
Further, you indicated that you are already married to a husband whom you say is the Lord's, while also praying for a deep intimate relationship forming a marriage between you and “daa”. Obviously, this is immoral and never acceptable before God. Our bodies are the Temple of God and belong to God.
I Corinthians 6:18 "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but whoever commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
Further, it is never our position to command God to do anything or to oppose His will and destination for us. Specifically mentioning the current husband as belonging to God means that you have entered a covenant with God regarding marriage. Always remember and take very seriously that we do not have the right to break or attempt to break this covenant of marriage until or unless our spouse has departed physically or spiritually in breaking this same vow and goes against the will of God.
Matthew 5:32 “but I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries her when she is divorced commits adultery.”
We pray for the growth of Jesus in each individual's life and for each to be sanctified to Jesus Christ, set apart for the gospel, equipped to serve Jesus, and on fire for Jesus. Let each know and follow God's will. We have two prayers. Let's pray.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come boldly in the name of Jesus and his name only, to intercede for this sister and her husband in prayer. We come in her marriage and that it be sanctified and honored by her to bring about strength in Jesus Name and the richness of his joys. We also pray Anonymous grows spiritually, blessed, wise, prosperous, and mature together in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask for clear spirits, clean hearts, and renewed minds so they may see their union first and foremost as a ministry and joy from God. We pray the two are the light to the world, spreading the gospel, and committing fully to each other as our Heavenly Father intended. We pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
For Anonymous and “daa” we also pray to our Heavenly Father for each to know Jesus powerfully and to keep His ways before them, that they each may see their proper path and calling that God has for them. Each may grow in their own personal relationship with God and may follow God's will, direction, and guidance. Lord, we pray each comes to a full and mature relationship with Jesus in every aspect as Jesus commands and want for us. Finally, we pray it is your will, dear Jesus, that a marriage results between Anonymous and “daa”. We pray this in Jesus name, Amen.
