Thank you for sharing your urgent prayer request with us. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and your husband's salvation. Let us first and foremost pray for you and your husband to experience complete unity and spiritual wholeness. Know this, however, if your husband is not born again, then he is a pagan in his mind following the thoughts of this dark age. So ask God for a miracle to accomplish this and make this a priority.
God has been clear in Ephesians 5 that a woman should submit to her husband, so be both very understanding and patient. Presumably, you are at least following the basic tenants of Christianity. Please make that true and clearly live your faith.
God especially dislikes divorce, assuming you are married of course. Regardless of who you are praying about, make sure they are not involved in fornication or adultery or any other sin of lust. Find a solid biblical teaching Christian church fellowship if you have not.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, liftng up our sister in need. We pray for her husband, that he may have a genuine encounter with you, Lord, and accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. We pray that you will soften his heart, open his eyes, and draw him to you this very day, Amen. Asked as in Ezekiel 11:19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh
We also pray for unity and agreement between them, as you have instructed in Amos 3:3. "Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?" Let true marital bliss occur, including submission of the wife to the husband in the same manner she would submit to the Lord. Father, we ask that you bind them together with an unbreakable bond of love, commitment, and faithfulness, as described in Ecclesiastes 4:12: "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Please equip this couple to have hearts filled with the passion and grace described in 1 Corinthians 13, regardless of outward appearences and of the twists of fate that have left them unexpectedly conflicted.
You have me to joyfully write here as a day of wonder, for all prayers are processed through prayer and fasting as a contigent discipline of our collective love for Our Lord, Jesus Christ, IJC. How joyful we will be all together celebrating your victory as they grow as a single spirit, learning each other openly and drawing together as iron to a loadstone of truth. If their love breaks the faithfulness of covenant set forth for us in marriage and they quit, having rejected God and violated another's beliefs, then will He not extract a debt in wrath to some level. Have Mercy Lord! Grant then an example in making your way correct with an abundant blessing. Write their love story as if it were the passionate love of a jealous God for us, revealed in the wayward love of a confused people. Make then a new family bound by a neverbroken bond of unceasing love, never an unfaithful or adulterous bond, never a same sex bond, never an abusive bond, and never a defiled bond. The covenant is unbroken for those who love each other in the spirit if not the deed of marriage. Please give them the confidence of a God who knows their needs, but will not hear the prayers of those in delusion. Test them all the more Lord for their speedy recourse to divine support. Endow each of them a mansion each large enough to love the other abundantly.
Isaac says in Genesis 24:63 he went out to the field one evening to meditate, and as he looked up, he saw camels approaching. We all have camels, approaching, even in the evening of life.
Amen.
