Let's bring this matter to the Lord in prayer, seeking His protection and intervention. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Firstly, we must acknowledge Jesus is the only way to God. It is by Jesus that we are saved and by His name that we are able to have our prayers heard by God.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this household that is under unjust threat. We pray for the owner and the household and declare Your protection over them, according to Psalm 91 WEB, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
We rebuke the enemy's attempt to cause distress and disruption through this toxic individual. We ask, Lord, that You would expose any lies and false allegations, and bring the truth to light. We pray that You would soften this person's heart and turn them away from their harmful intentions and to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. If the person is not saved, we pray that God would convict them of their sin and need for a Savior. If the person is saved and in rebellion, we pray that God would chastise and restore them. Scripture says in Matthew 18:15-17 WEB, "If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother. But if he doesn't listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector." We pray for God to work in the situation and not for our will to be done, but His perfect will.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for the homeowner and the household, that they would know how to handle this situation with godly wisdom according to James 1:5 WEB, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We also pray that no harm would come to the household and that God would keep them safe.
Father, we ask that You would guide and direct the local authorities, that they would see the truth and not be swayed by false accusations. We pray for a hedge of protection around this household, and that all schemes of the enemy would be thwarted according to Job 1:10-12 WEB, "Haven't you put a hedge around him, and around his house, and around all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. But stretch out your hand now, and touch all that he has, and he will renounce you to your face."
Finally, we pray for peace in this household according to Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Lord, fill them with Your peace, and help them to trust in You during this troubling time.
You have not mentioned the name Jesus Christ in your request, and we want to remind you that it is only by His name that we have access to God. It is by His sacrificial death on the cross and resurrection from the dead that we can be saved. We recommend that you consider this if you have not already.
We will continue to pray for you and your household, trusting that the Lord will hear our prayers and act on your behalf. Stand firm in your faith, and know that the power of prayer can move mountains.
