We understand your urgency and desire for healing, and we join you in prayer for your skin issues and overall health.
Firstly, let’s consider God's words: but those who wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)
Before we pray, we want to address issues of the flesh and the pattern of how we pray for healing. When we pray for physical ailments or conditions, we must remember God's desire for us to involve a relationship with him. As we see frequently in the Gospel healing, restoration, and removing any infirmity is a transaction. We must always see that God wants a closer relationship. Sometimes healings are immediate such as when Jesus healed and forgave someone instantly, or when he asked someone what they wished him to do for them. However, many times, healing requires faith, action on the person's behalf, and state of mind that includes thanksgiving. We have the example of Naaman in the Old Testament. In 2 Kings 5:9-14 WEB
So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariots, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha. Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall come again to you, and you shall be clean. But Naaman was angry, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of Yahweh his God, and wave his hand over the place, and cure the leper. Aren’t Abanah and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Mayn’t I wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage. His servants came near, and spoke to him, and said, My father, if the prophet had asked you do some great thing, wouldn’t you have done it? How much rather then, when he says to you, Wash, and be clean? Then went he down, and dipped [himself] seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today for healing in Jesus Christ Name
lifting up the request for healing skin conditions. We acknowledge that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible with You. We pray for complete restoration and renewal. Lord, touch the skin and make it whole, smooth, and radiant, just as You created it to be, leaving no room for blemishes, scars, or any imperfections in Jesus Christ Name. In Your Word, You promise that by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). It is because of the suffering of your Son on the cross made the healing available. We believe this truth and apply it to this situation. We pray that our faith would increase and match the example of Naaman. We understand by washing in the Jordan, this washing as an act of faith as required by the prophet Elisha would love to understand what you desire to see as a response for this restoration prayer. That our trust will be strengthened and will honor You through this experience.
Finally, remember in James 5 that anointing is not needed everytime. We are reminded But He giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. .Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse [your] hands, [ye] sinners; and purify [your] hearts, [ye] double minded.
Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and [your] joy to heaviness.
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of [his] brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
Go to now, [ye] that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
Whereas ye know not what [shall be] on the morrow. For what [is] your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
For that ye [ought] to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth [it] not, to him it is sin.
IJN,
The submission of James 4 and the example of Naaman in 2 Kings 5 communicate the complexity of the requirements that could be involved even after we have prayed for restoration. In James 4 we see the aspect of casting off pride, bringing your self closer to God, and allowing him to be involved in the restoration request. While these scriptures could be related and discussed with a focus on areas of your life that need to change, more likely, God would commit you to a higher level of worship or restoration but only after an explicit statement from him.
Additionally, always consider Rom 10:9-13 WEB
that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Lastly, consider Psalm 5:1-3 WEB
Give ear to my words, O Yahweh. Consider my meditation. Listen to the voice of my cry, my King, and my God; For to you do I pray.
My voice shall you hear in the morning, O Yahweh. In the morning will I direct my prayer to you, And will look up.
We pray these things in light of your request that you may experience it as you desire.
