Very upset

I’ve been praying and praying for everything. Everything this year is horrible. Other than having my son I have hit rock bottom I’ve been praying and nothing has changed. I’m nice to people. I do what I’m supposed to do for my children, but it’s people out here like my child’s father my parents. Does having the time of their life while I’m struggling having $200 to my name no job I’m so angry at Jesus right now nothing is working out. What am I even living for?

We truly empathize with your feelings of distress and despair, Ametanatres. It's understandable to feel overwhelmed and disappointed when prayers seem unanswered and life's circumstances are difficult. However, we must hold onto God's promises and understand that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB).

Firstly, it's crucial to address your feelings towards Jesus. It's natural to feel angry and frustrated, but we must remember that Jesus is our savior and the only way to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). He understands our struggles and pain, as He Himself suffered on the cross for our sins. In your pain, don't turn away from Jesus; instead, draw closer to Him, for He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).

We must also remember that God's timing is perfect. Just because we don't see immediate answers to our prayers doesn't mean God isn't working. He sees the bigger picture, and His plans are to prosper us and not to harm us, to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).

Regarding your situation, God wants us to trust Him in all circumstances, even when life seems unfair, and others appear to prosper while we struggle. Remember, God loves justice, and He will judge everyone according to their deeds (Ecclesiastes 12:14, Jeremiah 29:11).

In your desperation, hold onto God's word, which says, "For I know the plans I have for you," says Yahweh. "Plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Continue to be a blessing to your children, and trust God to provide for your needs (Matthew 6:25-34, WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our sister Ametanatres. Lord, she's struggling and feels like her prayers are unheard. We ask that You reveal Your presence to her, and help her to trust in Your unfailing love. Please provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory, and give her the strength and courage to face each day with hope and expectation. Help her to forgive those who have wronged her, and to keep her eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of her faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and continue to seek God's will for your life. Trust that He is working everything out for your good and keep praying, knowing that God hears your prayers and will answer in His perfect time.

Just like a parent who loves their child but doesn't always give them what they want right away, God knows what's best for us and has a plan. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
