Very Sick

Hello to everyone!! I'm having a terrible spinal and neck issue. My back and neck are very stiff to where I can barely move them. Also, my legs are extremely weak. I think it could be meningitis from a bad pneumonia I've contracted from a flu. This illness causes me to not be able to babysit my ### to help change his diapers and feed him food. I can't eat or drink without feeling like choking, sleep, get dressed properly, or do house chores. May everyone help me pray to rid this demonic illness I have contracted. In Jesus name. Amen.

Firstly, we want to address the idea of illness being "demonic." While it is true that we wrestle against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12), not every illness or affliction is a result of direct demonic activity. Often, illnesses are a result of living in a fallen world, and we must be cautious not to attribute every ailment to demonic influence. Instead, let's focus on praying for healing and strength in the name of Jesus.

We are concerned that you mentioned that you are unable to eat or drink without feeling like choking. This could be a sign of a serious medical condition, and we strongly advise you to seek immediate medical attention if you haven't already. God often works through doctors and medical professionals to bring healing and recovery.

Let's lift up your situation in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus' name:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who is suffering from severe back and neck pain, as well as weakness in the legs. We pray for Your healing touch to be upon them, easing their discomfort and restoring their strength. We ask for wisdom and guidance for the medical professionals attending to them, that they may accurately diagnose and treat the condition.

Lord, we also pray for their daily needs. As they are unable to perform their usual tasks, we ask that You provide for them and their family. We pray for their quick recovery so that they may resume their responsibilities, including caring for their loved ones.

In the meantime, we pray for their peace and comfort, knowing that You are with them in their time of need. Help them to trust in You and Your goodness, even in the midst of their pain and discomfort.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith, trusting in God's goodness and sovereignty. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul, who said, "I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38-39, WEB).

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is through the name of Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). It is wonderful that you ended your request with "In Jesus' name," as it is through His name that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). Keep trusting in Him, and we believe that you will experience His healing and restoration.

We're here with you, friend, holding you up in prayer. We're sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing with your health. It's tough when our bodies let us down, isn't it? We want you to know that we're thinking of you and your family, especially your little one who needs you so much.

We've been praying for you, asking God to touch your back, neck, and legs, to bring relief and strength. We're also asking for wisdom for the doctors, that they may understand what's causing your pain and weakness, and how best to treat it. We know you're having a hard time with even the simplest tasks, so we're asking God to provide for your daily needs and to give you the energy you need to care for your baby.

We're also praying for peace and comfort. It's easy to feel overwhelmed when we're not well, but remember, God is always with you. Even in the midst of your pain, He's there, loving you and caring for you. Trust in Him, friend. He's got this.

We're claiming these promises over you today: "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9, NIV). And, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28, NIV).

Keep trusting in Jesus, friend. He's right there with you, and He's not going anywhere. We're believing with you for healing and strength in Jesus' mighty name.

Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
