Ovrem, we are joyful to come together and lift your request before the Lord. We will seek His will for you, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we are thankful that you have hopes and dreams aligned with biblical principles, such as the desire for a child and a home with your husband. It is wonderful to see your trust in the Lord for these blessings. As the Bible tells us, "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1 WEB).
However, we would like to lovingly remind you that financial growth and material blessings should not be the primary focus of our prayers. The love of money can lead us away from God, as we are warned in 1 Timothy 6:10, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows." Instead, we should seek first God's kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to us, as Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:33.
Let us pray for you and your husband:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Ovrem and her husband. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and knowledge to guide them in every step of their lives. We pray for peace that transcends all understanding to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Father, we ask for Your will to be done concerning their desire for a child. We pray that if it is Your plan, You would bless them with a baby, allowing them to experience the joy of parenthood. We also ask for Your guidance and provision regarding their home and finances. Help them to trust in You and to be good stewards of the resources You have entrusted to them.
Most importantly, Lord, we pray that Ovrem and her husband would continue to grow in their relationship with You, seeking Your kingdom first. Help them to keep their priorities straight and to never let material blessings become idols in their lives.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Ovrem, trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Keep your hope in Him, and may His peace rule in your hearts.
