Very difficult and sad decision

Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up ### who is grappling with an incredibly difficult and painful decision. Lord, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that Your comforting presence be felt by ### in this time of distress.
Father, Your Word tells us to cast our anxieties on You because You care for us (1 Peter 5:7). We ask that You take this burden from ### and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Guide and direct every step, providing wisdom and clarity. Your Word says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5). We pray for that divine wisdom to be granted to ###.
Lord, we know that our value and identity are found in You and not in the decisions we make or the circumstances we face. Remind ### that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that Your plans for them are for good and not for disaster, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We pray for strength and courage for ### to face whatever lies ahead. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). May Your grace be sufficient and Your power made perfect in their weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
