We understand your urgent desire for physical healing and improvement, but we must first address that our prayers should always be centered on God's will and not merely our own desires. As it is written in 1 John 5:14-15, "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
While you have mentioned Jesus Christ in your request, we want to ensure you understand that He is the only way to God. It's wonderful that you acknowledge His name, but we want to encourage you to also pursue a deeper relationship with Him, not just seeking Him for physical healing. As Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Regarding your request for physical changes and healing, we pray that God's will be done in your life. We pray for your healing and that any medical procedures you undergo will be successful and free of complications. However, we also encourage you to seek God's peace and joy regardless of your physical appearance. As Peter writes, "Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious." (1 Peter 3:3-4)
We also lift up your husband in prayer, that he may come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. We pray that your marriage will be a testimony of God's love and grace. Remember, "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything." (Ephesians 5:22-24)
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our sister in her time of need. We ask that Your will be done in her life, both physically and spiritually. We pray for her healing, that You would guide her doctors and that her procedures would be successful and free of complications. We also pray for her husband, that he would come to know You as his Lord and Savior. Help their marriage to be a beacon of Your love and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
