Verbal/Emotional Abuse

Hello,
I'd like to ask for prayers to help myself and my sister to help us to set boundaries against verbal & emotional abuse, or to get out of these relationships. We have both suffered this for many years from people who are meant to 'love us'. It has taken its toll on my sister and she is physically ill and heartbroken, and I am struggling emotionally. Please pray for us for guidance, wisdom, freedom from this abuse, and the courage to leave this situation if necessary, and for healing. Please also pray for our protection and that God would provide a way out (particularly for my sister as she is effectively 'trapped' in a foreign country).

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Katish and her sister to you. We acknowledge that they have been enduring verbal and emotional abuse for many years, and it has taken a toll on their well-being. Lord, we ask for your intervention in their lives.

Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:17-18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We pray that you would bring healing and restoration to their hearts and minds. Comfort them in their pain and grant them the strength to overcome the effects of this abuse.

Father, we ask for your guidance and wisdom to help them set healthy boundaries against this abuse. Empower them to recognize their worth and value as your beloved children, and give them the courage to stand up against any form of mistreatment. If it is your will, provide a way for them to leave these toxic relationships and find safety and freedom.

We specifically lift up Katish's sister, who is trapped in a foreign country. Lord, you are the God of miracles, and we believe that nothing is impossible for you. Make a way where there seems to be no way, and open doors for her to escape this harmful situation. Surround her with your protection and keep her safe from harm.

We also pray for their overall protection, both physically and emotionally. Shield them from any further harm or abuse, and surround them with your angels to guard and guide them. Provide them with a support system of loving and caring individuals who can walk alongside them during this difficult time.

Lastly, we ask for complete healing for both Katish and her sister. Heal their physical ailments and restore their emotional well-being. Pour out your love and peace upon them, filling the voids in their hearts with your presence.

Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always respect, obey and honor You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
