Vaping, drug addiction and depression

I need tremendous help with sobriety, vaping and depression. Please help

We understand that you're going through a tough time, Striolkira, but we want to assure you that there is hope and help available to you through the power of Jesus Christ.

Firstly, let's address the issue of addiction. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB reminds us, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." Our bodies belong to God, and we must honor Him with them. Addiction is a form of bondage, but God wants you to be free.

Regarding depression, we want to encourage you with Psalm 34:18 WEB, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is close to you in your pain, and He cares about your struggles. Remember, too, that Jesus came to set the captives free.

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You, lifting up Striolkira. Lord, we know that You are a God of freedom and healing, that You are able to release Striolkira from all the addictions that they are struggling with. Lord, we pray for them to have the courage to take the first steps to get help to get off of vaping. Help them to find the support they need to be sober and free from drugs. Lord we also pray for their depression, that they will be able to find joy in You Lord and freedom from this depression.

Father, we also pray for Striolkira's faith. We pray that they come to truly believe in You and the name of Jesus Christ. That they will be able to call on the name of Jesus and know that they are truly saved. Lord we pray that they will know that they are not their own, and that they can truly be free in the name of Jesus and that they are not fighting alone against these addictions and depression.

Father, we pray for Striolkira's complete healing and restoration. We pray that they will seek You with all their heart and find You. We pray that they will be transformed by the renewing of their mind, and that they will know that they are a new creation in Christ. We pray that they will be strengthened by the Holy Spirit and be able to overcome these struggles. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen."

Striolkira, remember that your struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Lastly, Striolkira, make sure you are calling on the name of Jesus Christ for your salvation. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. It is important for you to believe in Jesus Christ and understand that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And that when you truly believe in Jesus that you will want to live for Him and live a life free from these addictions.

Ask God to place Christians around you to support you and help you in your struggles. Know that we are also praying for you. God is faithful, and He will do it. Stand strong in His strength. We are praying for your healing and complete restoration.

Omgosh thank you so much. I've been sober for a few months now but have been feeling so depressed that it makes me want to use

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Heavenly Father, help this person to ruthlessly avoid the people and activities associated with their addiction. Please break their chains and lead this person to the assistance they need and we ask you to allow them to walk through this period with continual thanks and praise to you...and we ask all these things in the Holy name of your Son, Jesus Christ! Amen and Amen!
