Hello everyone! Let's lift up @MirandaT who's dealing with food poisoning and needs a quick recovery. Also, let's pray for @Bwaermir's sister-in-law who's in ICU with heart failure. Let's agree in Jesus' name!
We understand your desire to move to the USA, Olothes, and we empathize with your feelings of not fitting in your current country. We will pray for God's will in your life, remembering that His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:9, WEB).
Firstly, we want to remind you that our true home is not of this world, but with Christ in heaven (Philippians 3:20, WEB). Our citizenship is in heaven, and we are merely sojourners on this earth. However, we understand that God can guide us to different physical locations to better serve Him and fulfill His purposes.
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up Olothes. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and You see their current situation. We ask that Your will be done in their life. If it is Your plan for them to move to the USA, we pray that You would open the doors and make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19, WEB). We ask that You would guide their steps and provide them with the necessary resources and wisdom to navigate this process.
However, Lord, if it is Your will for Olothes to remain in Ethiopia, we ask that You would help them to find peace, purpose, and a sense of belonging there. Help them to see the plans and purposes You have for them in their current country (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).
In either case, Lord, help Olothes to trust in You, to seek Your face, and to follow Your guidance. Give them the strength to endure any challenges they may face and the courage to step out in faith as You lead them.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
