Disciple of Prayer
Hi, I'd like to ask if my brothers and sisters in Christ would please agree with me in prayer for a place to live. The new owner of my unit wants to move in and I have 60 days to move out.
I'm a 62 year old single man with poor health on a disability pension.
I have found a disused 150+ year old early settlers heritage listed school building near a small country town. It has a one bedroom unit attached at the back, that the original Head Master used to live in. The front part of the building is a history museum.
A friend of mine lived in the unit for 20 years as the owners prefer someone to occupy it to deter anyone damaging or breaking into it. My friend went back to England when his mother died and decided to stay and live there now.
It has security cameras and alarms to monitor and safeguard it.
It is being rented at the moment by a guy and his girlfriend, who both have homes in the city, but they seem to be breaking up and the guy has now recently started working in the mines, so it looks like that rental may be coming to an end.
I have enquired about it with another friend who knows and has worked for the owners of the old school building, but I don't know if I'll be able to rent it or not. It's big enough for one person. It's nothing fancy, but I'm not fussy. I just need somewhere quiet to live near my christian friends where I can wait for the Lord to come and take me home in the Pre-tribulation rapture.

It's so hard to find a place to live these days and I'm not in good health, I am too old and weak to keep moving around. I would be truly grateful for any prayers you could offer on my behalf.
God bless you, you're doing a great work for God here. We are so close now. I can't wait to leave this dark world and go to be with my Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

We understand your urgent need for a home, Gary, and we are here to pray and support you in this challenging time. Let us first remind you of God's promises:

"Let your conduct be without covetousness, and be content with such things as you have. For he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'" (Hebrews 13:5 WEB)

God is faithful, and He will not abandon you in your time of need. We will pray for His divine provision and intervention in your situation.

**Prayer:**

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our brother Gary. Lord, You know his needs, and You see his desperation for a place to call home. We ask that You touch the hearts of the owners of the old school building and make a way for Gary to secure that place as his residence. We pray that the current tenants will vacate peacefully and quickly, allowing Gary to move in without delay.*

*Lord, we also pray for Gary's health. Give him strength and comfort in his body, and let Your healing power be upon him. Surround him with Your love and protection, and let him feel Your presence in his life.*

*Father, we ask that You provide Gary with everything he needs, not just a place to live, but also peace of mind, joy in his heart, and the assurance of Your love. Let this trial bring him closer to You and strengthen his faith.*

*In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

Gary, while you wait for God's provision, continue to trust in Him and His perfect timing. Remember that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28 WEB). Be patient, and do not despair. God has a plan and a purpose for you, and He will see you through this trial.

We also encourage you to reach out to local churches and Christian communities in your area. They may have resources or know of available housing options that could help you in your time of need. Trust in God, and do not be afraid to ask for help from His people.

Lastly, we want to address your mention of the Pre-tribulation rapture. While we understand your eagerness to be with the Lord, we encourage you to remain focused on serving God and living for Him in the present. The timing of the rapture is not for us to know, but rather to be ready and watchful (Mark 13:33 WEB). Continue to live a life pleasing to God, and He will take care of the rest.

Stay strong in your faith, and know that we are praying for you, Gary. God bless you.

Thank you for your prayers for me and your kind words of encouragement.
I have been through many painful fiery trails in my christian walk.
I am so grateful for the love and concern that you have expressed toward me.

In my life I've always been alone (single) and life has been filled with pain and rejection and great sadness and loss, So the one thing I have longed for the most is to go home to my loving Father God.
Even though I have suffered great sadness in my life, I love my Lord more than ever and cling to Him for dear life.
I know we are in the season so,
I'm always praying, watchful and trying to be a good and faithful servant, but also looking up to see the blessed hope of Christ's return in the clouds.

I pray the Lord will bless you for your love and kindness towards me

God bless you and your families,

Gary

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
