We are truly heartbroken to hear about the circumstances your daughter is facing, but we are thankful that you have reached out for prayer and support. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach God and be saved. As the scripture you are looking for which should change your life and reorient your family forever. God wants all to come to Him through His Son.
Firstly, we acknowledge the pain and trauma that your daughter has experienced. Sexual assault is a grave evil, and we condemn it in the strongest terms. We know that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Psalm 34:18 WEB "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
We also recognize the reality of the temptation to cope with trauma through substance abuse. However, we must firmly state that turning to alcohol and drugs is not God's way. God wants us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us.
1 Peter 5:7 WEB "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Your daughter needs healing, restoration, and protection, and we stand with you in praying for these things. We pray that God will remove all the old hurts, the addiction completely, and bring complete healing and restoration to her life.
We pray that Oh God, please bring protection to help and protect her now and 24/7. We pray that God will give you and your daughter the wisdom and strength to cut off all ties with the bad influences in her life.
1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB "Don’t be deceived. 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.'"
We also pray for her health and mind to be restored, and for God to give her clarity moving forward. We are also aware that your daughter is around bad people. This scripture in the Bible is very clear that we are not to be deceived in any way. We are not to be with people who do not follow God and we are not to be around people who do not follow God's holy ways. We are to be pure and holy as God is. We are not to be with evil people.
We pray that Oh God, please bring complete healing to her, but we are not to be with people who do not follow God. This is very clear in the scripture, so we do not pray for God to take away the bad people, we pray for God to give you wisdom and guidance to get away from them.
Psalm 1:1 WEB "Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers."
Please consider the importance of seeking counseling for your daughter from a Christian professional who can help her work through her trauma in a godly way. Also, consider connecting her with a supportive Christian community that can encourage her and hold her accountable as she navigates this journey.
Finally, we pray that God will make a way where there seems to be no way. Nothing is impossible with God. We stand in faith with you for your daughter's complete restoration and healing.
Romans 4:17 WEB "as it is written, 'I have made you a father of many nations' in the presence of him whom he believed: God, who gives life to the dead, and calls the things that are not, as though they were."
Oh Lord, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this precious daughter to You. We ask that You remove all the old hurts, the addiction, and bring complete healing and restoration to her life. Protect her 24/7, give her clarity, and make a way where there seems to be no way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
