We understand your desire for healing and improvement in your physical appearance, as well as your concern for your relationship. First, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of your life, including your health and relationships. However, we must ensure that our prayers and desires align with God's will and biblical principles.
We commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Regarding your physical appearance, we pray that God will guide the hands of your surgeon and bring healing to your body. Remember that God is concerned about your heart, and it is the inward person that He finds most valuable. For the Lord doesn't see as mortal people see. People look on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart (1 Samuel 16:7 WEB).
We pray for your surgeon, that God may grant him the skill, wisdom, and joy in performing the procedure (if it is according to God's will).
Concerning your relationship, we must address a few things. It is clear that you desire unity and love between you and your spouse. This is commendable, as marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God. However, we must remember that true love and unity come from a shared commitment to God and His principles.
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without defect. (Ephesians 5:22-27 WEB).
We strongly encourage you to seek God's will for your marriage and to commit to loving and respecting your husband as the Bible instructs.
Finally, we must address the issue of seeking to be the woman of someone's dreams, specifically asking God to make you the woman of your husband's dreams. This can be problematic if it leads to an unhealthy focus on physical appearance or trying to change who you are to fit someone else's ideal. God created you uniquely and wonderfully, and He wants you to be the person He created you to be.
Therefore, we pray that God will guide you and your husband in your marriage, that He will grant you both a spirit of unity and love, and that He will help you to accept and love each other as you are. We pray that you will strive to be a Proverbs 31 woman, a woman who fears the Lord and is praised by her husband and children.
