Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who desires a godly marriage. We pray firstly that the man she is interested in is saved and knows you personally. We pray that he becomes a born-again Christian who will live and love as the spiritual leader of his family as you outline in the bible. We pray that You will guide her steps and lead her to the husband You have chosen for her, a man who will love, cherish, and lead her in Your will. We pray that their relationship will be built on a solid foundation of faith, trust, and mutual respect.

Lord, help our sister to grow in her faith and to put her hope in You. We pray that their love will be pure, patient, kind, and not self-seeking, as described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. We ask that You bless their relationship, protect it from harm, and make it a testimony of Your love and faithfulness. Help our sister to trust in Your perfect timing and will for her life.

Lord, most of all, we ask that Your will be done in both their lives and that they strive to live lives that are pleasing to You. If this man is not Your will for our sister, then we pray that You would give her strength and wisdom to discern Your plan for her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
