We understand your desire for improvement in your appearance and the stress you're experiencing regarding your photographs and videos. However, we need to remind you that they may not be the most important issue. God is our number one priority and He is more concerned with our internal self. While it's natural to want to look our best, we should remember that true beauty comes from within, as told in 1 Peter 3:3-4 WEB: "Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious."
Moreover, we should be cautious about the use of images and videos, especially with regards to modesty and purity. We should not be focused on our own images for the sake of personal vanity or the approval of others. This is a good time to mention 1 Timothy 2:9-10 WEB: "I also want women to adorn themselves in modest clothing, with decency and propriety; not just with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing; but with good works, which is fitting for women professing godliness."
You did mention Jesus Christ, which is wonderful and shows you are seeking God's will in this situation. Now we should also remember that true satisfaction and joy come from knowing Jesus, not from our appearance or the approval of others. As it is written in Matthew 6:29-30 WEB: "Yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith?"
We should also mention that the overuse of images and videos can lead to other issues that may not honor God. It is important to be aware of the possibility of creating or causing stumbling blocks for others, as well as ourselves, with these types of actions. As it is mentioned in Matthew 5:28 WEB: "But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up our sister in Christ. We thank you that she is seeking you first in this situation, and we ask for your guidance and wisdom in her life. We pray that this will be an opportunity for her to grow closer to you and to experience the joy and satisfaction that only you can provide. We pray for your will in her life, and for her to become more like Jesus every day. We pray that she will be an example of modesty, purity, and true beauty to those around her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to spend time in God's Word, seeking His will for your life. Remember that your worth is not based on your outward appearance, but on the fact that you are a child of God, created in His image. Focus on cultivating the fruit of the Spirit in your life, as listed in Galatians 5:22-23 WEB: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
