We understand your urgent desire for unity and a Christ-centered marriage. Let's bring your requests before the Lord in prayer and seek His will according to His word.

Firstly, it's crucial to understand that God's will is for us to be conformed to the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. As it is written, "For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers" (Romans 8:29 WEB). Therefore, we should desire not just the blessings but also the character of Christ in our lives and marriages.

It's commendable that you're asking for your husband to be a born-again Christian, as this is God's will for everyone. Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, unless a person is born of water and spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God" (John 3:5 WEB).

Regarding the unity and agreement in your marriage, we should remember the words of the Apostle Paul, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh" (Ephesians 5:31 WEB). This oneness is not just physical but also spiritual. However, this unity should not be confused with uniformity. God made us uniquely and can use our differences for His glory.

It's also important to address the repeated requests for your husband to desire only you and for the destruction of any soul ties with other women. While God calls us to faithfulness in marriage (Exodus 20:14, Hebrews 13:4 WEB), He does not call us to control or manipulate others. Instead, we should pray for our spouses and trust God to work in their hearts. Remember, "The husband is head of the wife, and Christ is the head of the church. Now as the church submits to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything" (Ephesians 5:23-24 WEB). This is a call to mutual submission and respect, not control. You can pray for God to strengthen and bless your marriage, but avoid trying to dictate or control your husband's feelings or actions.

Moreover, let's be cautious not to elevate the gifts above the Giver. While it's natural to desire a blessed marriage, we should desire God above all else. As Jesus taught, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33 WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father,
