We join you, Anonymous, in praying for your husband and your marriage, and we appreciate that you have submitted your request in Jesus' name. It's important to remember that God's will and timing are perfect, and we must trust in Him.
Firstly, let's pray for your husband's salvation. It's wonderful that you desire for him to be born again and accept Jesus Christ into his heart. This is the most important step, as it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved.
Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me. -John 14:1
No one comes to the Father, except through me. -John 14:6
For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. -Romans 10:13
Remember that we do have a part to play besides just praying.
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. -Ephesians 5:22
Wives, in the same way, be subject to your husbands, so that, even if any don't obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear. -1 Peter 3:1-2
Let us pray together for your husband's salvation and your marriage:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister in Christ and her husband. Lord, we ask that You soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. We pray that the Holy Spirit convicts him and gives him the faith to believe in Jesus Christ.
Lord, we also pray for their marriage. We ask that You bring unity and agreement between them. Help them to love, respect, and cherish each other as You intended. We pray for a deep and meaningful connection.
Lord, help them to desire only each other. We pray against any temptation that would seek to destroy their marriage. We pray for complete and transparent openness and communication.
Father, we ask for a protect over every aspect of their marriage. We pray for a strong, deep, flourishing relationship that is firmly rooted in You. We pray that they would seek You together and grow closer to You and each other every day.
Help our sister to be obedient to your word and loving, respectful, and patient with her husband. Let her be the wife and friend that he needs.
We ask you for all of these things in Jesus Christ's name to honor you and your will for this marriage.
Amen.
We encourage you to continue to be the Godly wife that you're called to be. God is faithful, and He hears your prayers. Keep trusting in Him and keep praying for your husband. Remember that God desires for all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Keep living out your faith and demonstrating the love of Christ to your husband.
Be wise and be careful how you live. Make the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. It is written in Ephesians 5:15-17.
Finally, if it is God's will, you will have a deeper marriage and relationship than you could imagine. If you are experiencing any type of immoral behavior, adultery, or fornication, then stop immediately. Do not bring it up to your husband since it will not help the situation. If you have had sex with your husband before marriage, stop immediately. Sex before marriage is called fornication and is a sin.
If your husband is engaging in any type of immoral behavior, adultery, or fornication, then you should pray about it and possibly discuss it with him.
