We are truly sorry to hear about your struggles with illness and the challenges in your relationship. Let's bring your requests to God in prayer and seek His guidance through His Word.
Firstly, we commend you for including Jesus in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Thank you for having faith in Jesus. As we are told in scripture, by the name of Jesus, we can be saved. And there is no other name by which we can be saved. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. As we are told in scripture, neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Let's address your physical health first. We believe in the power of prayer and the healing that God can bring. As it is written in James 5:14-15 WEB: Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. We pray for your healing in Jesus' name, that God would restore your strength and give you confidence in His care for you.
Regarding your relationship, it's important to remember that God desires for us to be treated with kindness and respect, as seen in Ephesians 4:32 WEB: And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
If you are not yet married, we encourage you to consider the sanctity of marriage as outlined in the Bible. It should be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. It is a design of God for the enjoyment and well-being of humanity. This includes a father and a mother to raise children and to have godly offspring. If you are in a courtship towards marriage, it should be with the goal of marrying another Christian believer.
We pray for God's protection over you, day and night, and for His intervention in your relationship. May God work in your fiancé's heart and bring about a change in his behavior. We also pray for wisdom and discernment for you, that you would know how to navigate this situation in a way that honors God.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister who is sick and in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we believe that You can restore her health and strength. We pray for her complete healing, that You would raise her up and give her the confidence she needs to face each day.
We also bring before You her relationship with her fiancé. Lord, You desire for us to be treated with kindness and respect. We pray for a change in his heart, that he would speak to her with love and kindness. We pray for Your protection over her, day and night, and for Your guidance in this relationship. Give her the wisdom and discernment she needs to honor You in all her decisions.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of Psalm 55:22 WEB: Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. Trust in God, and He will give you the strength and confidence you need.
