We are truly sorry to hear about the trials you and your daughters are facing. Firstly, it's important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12 WEB.
We must stand strong against these curses and bless those who curse us. (Matthew 5:44 WEB) We also need to pray for your stepson and his half-brother. It is not our job to point people out of our lives but to pray for their salvation. Regardless of the circumstances, Jesus tells us, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you. (Luke 6:27 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family who is under spiritual attack. We pray for your divine protection over them, their home, and their circumstances according to Psalms 91 WEB. We rebuke any curses spoken over them and declare your blessings instead, according to Deuteronomy 28. We pray for your healing touch upon their bodies, minds, and spirits, and for an end to those problems with their weight.
Lord, we also lift up the stepson and his half-brother. We pray that you would soften their hearts and turn them away from any wrongdoing. We pray for the two grown adults to have their own lives and own homes. We ask that you would help them to look to you for their needs, not to their father. We know that Your word says, if a man will not work, he shall not eat. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB. Lord, we pray for your will to be done in their life.
Father, we pray for peace and unity in this family. We pray that you would turn the darkness they're experiencing into light. We pray for a way to live peaceably and that Your love in them will cause their persecutors to turn away and be saved. Matthew 5:10-12 WEB. We ask for your guidance and provision for this family. Father, we ask this in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, Our Lord and Savior. Amen.
When it comes to financial issues in the family, it is important to remember that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. 1 Timothy 6:10 WEB. It is not wrong to want to take care of our families but we must always trust that God will provide.
Regarding the mention of the Mexican mom, we must remember that God does not show favoritism. Romans 2:11 WEB. It is not right to hold bitterness towards someone because of their nationality. We must forgive and love others as Christ loved us. Ephesians 4:32 WEB.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to cast your cares on the Lord. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. He knows your struggles and He will equip you with everything you need to overcome them. Keep praying and trusting in Him. He is faithful. If you have not already, open your heart, repent of your sins, and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
