We are truly saddened to hear about the struggle that Chloe is facing, and we are here to intercede in prayer and provide biblical guidance. Let's begin by praying for her situation and also offfer some advice for you.
Chloe is on your heart and mind and that is why you are praying for her. She may be in a spiritual battle according to Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
Also, our battle is not against what we can see, including any problem or affliction. It is against the devil and his helpers, which are not flesh and blood. These are the real enemies, the powers of darkness that work in this world, the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. The devil is behind every problem that we face. Yet Chloe also has a choice, and her choices are leading her away from a Godly path.
Let's pray together:
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding on behalf of Chloe. Lord, You know the struggle she is facing with alcohol, and we plead Your blood over her life. We rebuke the spirit of addiction and command it to let her go. We ask You to fill her heart and mind with your Holy Spirit. Please help her to see that she is not satisfying her thirst with alcohol, and that she is really thirsty for you. You are the living water that she needs.
Father, we also pray for the one who submitted this request. We pray that you fill them with your peace. Please do not let them live in constant fear for Chloe. We pray that they trust in you and your plan for Chloe. We pray that they use this opportunity to show Chloe the love of Jesus Christ. Let them model the love, patience, forgiveness, and compassion that Jesus showed the Samaritan woman at the well. We pray that Chloe see Jesus in their actions and hear Him in their words. Let them be able to explain to Chloe that it is only by Jesus Christ and His sacrifice that we have access to you God.
Please guide them and give them the words to say and the actions to take to help Chloe in her struggle. We pray that Chloe seek help from godly Christian believers and counselors. We pray that the Holy Spirit be in her counseling sessions and that she is led to a better understanding of how to combat her addiction.
We pray that Chloe want to change and find the strength and guidance that comes from You. We thank you for her life and believe that she will be healed and delivered in Jesus' name. We ask this all in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage you to be there for Chloe, not enabling her actions but showing her the love of Christ. Galatians 6:1 reminds us, Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren't tempted." Be gentle with her, but do not support her sin. It is important to do this to help encourage her to seek help.
In addition, we are called to bear one another's burdens according to Galatians 6:2, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." You can bear her burden by continuing to intercede in prayer for her, being there for her, and showing her Christ's love. We encourage you to continue to be a light and pray for Chloe. Remember that even when things seem impossible, with God, all things are possible according to Matthew 19:26, "With God all things are possible." Trust in God and His timing.
Let's continue to pray for Chloe's healing and deliverance, and we encourage you to seek godly support and counseling for her. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
