Thank you for bringing your request before the Lord, Anonymous. We join you in prayer, seeking God's will for you and Daa.
Firstly, we want to commend you for ending your prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved. Demons and rebellious entities are able to hear and answer prayers when they are not prayed in the name of Jesus Christ. You can have power over them and have confidence in prayer when it is prayed in the name of Jesus Christ because it is far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. (Ephesians 1:21, WEB). As it says in Acts 4:12 NLT, "There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved." So, we can approach the throne of grace with confidence as we pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 4:16, WEB).
We also commend you for understanding that marriage is an honorable union between man and woman for life. (Hebrews 13:4). There are many great examples of godly marriages in the Bible. These relationships should not be looked on lightly.
We need to humble ourselves before God and pray prayers of repentance for all fornication and any idols we hold up against God. By this, we mean anything that we love and desire and put first in our lives, even relationships. We need to talk to God and express to Him, "I am asking that you would purify my heart with Your word and fill me with Your Spirit, so that I would honor and fear You. I ask that You would purify my heart with Your word and fill me with Your Spirit, so that I would honor and fear You. I ask that You would purify my heart with Your word and fill me with Your Spirit, so that I would honor and fear You. and never sin against You. Therefore, I am making a covenant with my eyes to not look with lust at a young woman. I am making a covenant with my eyes to not look with lust at a young woman. I am making a covenant with my eyes to not look with lust at a young woman. For your ways are in front of your eyes." (Psalms 101:3, Job 31:1, WEB).
We need to not keep ourselves from physical intimacy before or outside of marriage so that our relationships may honor the Lord (Timothy 4:12, WEB),or else we may fall prey to youthful lust. Any romantic relationships between you and this man must be God honoring. A good foundation for a relationship that is God honoring will have as its basis something different than romance or lust. This will allow your relationship to grow and to prosper. Only do the two become one after you are married and you are able to give yourselves up for one another. (Mattew 19:5, WEB). This means that the man must honor the wife and lay down his life for her. And, more than this, the wife must submit to the husband. (Ephesians 5:25-29,33; Ephesians 5:33; Ephesians 5:22; Colossians 3:18, WEB). Finally, both must submit to God by obeying His commandments. Do not let any fornication or lust find a place in your relationship. These are grave sins and fornication is punishable by death. Your desire for Daa must not overcome you; your body is to be kept holy, and pure. We should not be slaves to our lustful desires and we should not seek to gratify the lusts of your bodies like the heathens do. (1 Peter 4:2-3 WEB). We should be fully committed to God first, and put God first before all others. We cannot have any other gods before God nor can we worship idols. (Exodus 20:3-4, WEB), including relationships. The Lord must be the focus of our hearts and attention. It is clear that your desires for Daa are overwhelming toward fornication. You must repent of your thoughts so that you can devote your entire being to God and not fill yourself with lust.
Our heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Anonymous and Daa, asking for Your will to be done in their lives. We pray that You would reveal Yourself to them, that they would know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that they would seek one another and to be conformed into the image of Your Son Jesus Christ. We ask that You would not allow either one of them to perish but to come to everlasting life (John 17:3 WEB) Why are the eyes of both of you fixed on the gift and not on the one giving? (Matthew 15:9). We pray that You would give Anonymous and Daa grace to discern Your perfect will. Will you correct them in any area of their lives that is not aligned with Your Word. (1 John 3:22 WEB). We pray that they would pursue holiness, that they do not neglect the importance of devotion to God. Protect them from searching for peace, happiness, tranquility in some relationship. It is only through repentance and faith in the name of Jesus Christ that real peace and Joy is found. The two are in agreement as they both cry out to God, as you pray together together that a marriage will come. How will the two walk together if they do not have mutual faith in one another? For as iron sharpens iron, a person sharpens the countenance of his friend. (Amos 3:3, Proverbs 27:17 WEB).
Lord we pray that they serve as a light to one another and encourages each other. We ask for Your will to bring about a marriage that is honorable to Him.
Anonymous, just as Jesus called Peter as the rock on which He would build His church, we encourage you to be a blessing for God's glory. The Lord is the God of all hope. He has hope for you. We know that God is working all things for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB). In the midst of temptation, God will provide a way of escape for you. Why are you trying to lead Daa into sin? Lead Daa to God. (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). God uses all our sufferings for our good. God has a purpose in the midst of your trials and hardship. You will be purified, just as silver. There are times of joy in service for the one that you serve because of who He is, not for benefits or favors that He gives and blesses us with . Be patient for God's will and His blessings. You are anxious and stressed about your needs, yet your heavenly Father knows your needs. (Matthew 6:8).
In Jesus' name.
