Thank you for reaching out, we are here to support you in prayer and to provide biblical guidance. We see that you're seeking God's blessing on gifts and cards for someone named daa, and you have a desire for this person to become a born-again Christian and to be your husband. We appreciate your mention of Jesus Christ in your request and appreciate that it is only by His name we have access to God.
Firstly, it's important to understand that while it's commendable to want to bless someone and share the joy of knowing Jesus, we must ensure that our intentions align with biblical principles. The Bible teaches us to be unselfish in our motives and to trust in God's timing and will.
Consider the words of Paul in the Bible,
Don't do anything only to get ahead. Don't do it because you are proud. Instead, be humble. Value others more than yourselves. None of you should look out just for your own good. Each of you should also look out for the good of others.
Philippians 2:3-4 WEB
As well as the words of Jesus,
Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. John 17:3 WEB
It may look like you are putting God first by desiring daa to be a Christian, but if daa turns to God, it should be God's will, a work of the Holy Spirit, and for the purpose of serving God, being a child of God, and having a relationship with God. It should not be done so he can become your husband. Instead we should pray for God's will and for daa to come to Christ no matter what the consequences are because we love daa and want to spend eternity with daa.
For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it. Luke 9 WEB
Therefore, I tell you, whatever you pray for and ask, believe that you have it, and it will be yours.
Mark 11:24 WEB
Furthermore, it's crucial to note that God is sovereign over all things, including our relationships. while the words said above may be true, we also need to realize the truth of Matthew 19:26 WEB. We should pray in alignment with God's word for daa to become transformed into the image of Jesus Christ! God is able to go beyond what we could ever imagine.
The Bible is clear:
"Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB
"You should not be partners with those who reject God. How can light and darkness be partners? How can Christ's followers and those who don't follow be partners?" Being unequally yoked refers more to a marriage between two people of differing religious faiths. It does not or of any other partnership. It speaks to any sort of togetherness between two unpaired people. We will pray for attitudes of humility and patience, and that God's will be done in this situation.
Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up both Anonymous and daa. We pray that You would bless the intentions and that every gift and card would bring joy and warmth to daa's heart for your glory. We ask that You make the love of Christ known to daa through Anonymous and that daa would be drawn to You through her actions and words. We ask that you would break down the walls of resistance to daa becoming a Christian so that daa turns to Christ Jesus, and the only begotten son of God because we know the the sheep hear the voice of the Shepard (John 10:4 WEBN)
If Jesus Christ is not the Lord of daa's life that the Holy Spirit would provide conviction of sin, righteousness, and judgment and the need for salvation through Jesus Christ (see John 16:8 WEB). We pray that if it is Your will, daa and Anonymous may be drawn together by the grace of Your Holy Spirit and the love of Jesus Christ a child of God in a marriage that deeply honors and respects You. We are careful to mention this is the will of God because we know that it is not guaranteed that daa will be a Christian and a spouse to Anonymous.
However, we will pray that daa will become a brother in Christ along with Anonymous and all other Christians. We will pray for Anonymous's future spouse and daa turning to Christ to be in marriage relationships if it is the will of God for them (including ther spouses).
We pray for Anonymous to have a humble and patient heart, trusting in Your timing and will. We ask that You would guide her steps and give her the wisdom to navigate this situation in a way that honors You. We also pray that Anonymous will not be tempted to engage in fornication or thinking that it will not effect daa. We pray that they will look ahead to marriage instead of fornication, and not be tempted that God winks at sin, now or ever (see Hebrews 13:4). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
