My daughter had the courage to break up with her abusive fiance and he is trying to get her back and has her confused and crying. He's turned anti god and into an alcoholic. He's playing her weaknesses and caring heart. He ran up debt for her. He's coming to pick up things tonight and I'm concerned for her safety. He also said he's going to AA and church and it's only been 3 days. He said he's got a job and will do whatever he has to do to get her back. Please please pray for Chloé. Evan is driving her mad

We are truly concerned for Chloé and your family during this difficult time. It's crucial to seek God's protection and wisdom in this situation. Let's pray and consider God's word together.

Firstly, we commend Chloé for her courage in breaking away from the abusive relationship. The Bible encourages us to live in peace and safety. It states in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."

However, it's important to be discerning and cautious regarding her former fiancé's claims of change. While it is good to hear that he is considering attending Alcoholics Anonymous and church, true repentance and change take time and should bear consistent fruit. As it is written in Matthew 7:16, "By their fruits you will know them."

We must strongly advise Chloé not to allow Evan's manipulative behavior to sway her. The fact that he has turned against God and become an alcoholic shows a dangerous spiritual and emotional state. His attempts to play on her weaknesses and caring heart are not signs of genuine love, but of manipulation. Remember, "Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous. Love does not brag, and is not proud," as stated in 1 Corinthians 13:4.

For her safety, it would be wise to have trusted friends or family members present when Evan comes to collect his things. Additionally, consider informing local authorities about the situation for added protection.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection and guidance for Chloé. Lord, please give her the strength to stand firm in her decision and not be swayed by manipulation. Help her to see Evan's true intentions and protect her from any physical or emotional harm.

We ask that You surround their home with Your angels, ensuring safety during Evan's visit. Lord, we also pray for Evan, that he may truly find repentance and seek Your face. Change his heart, Lord, and deliver him from the bondage of alcoholism and abusive behavior.

Father, we ask all these things in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage both you and Chloé to trust in the Lord, for He is faithful. As Psalm 34:18 assures us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

We've been thinking about you and Chloé, and we're here for you both. It's brave of her to have left the abusive relationship, and we're proud of her for that. We know it's tough, but remember, God is always with you both, and He's working things out for your good (Romans 8:28).

We're a bit worried about Evan's visit tonight, but let's trust God for her safety. We'll be praying that God will give her the wisdom to stay strong and not be swayed by Evan's words or actions. We'll also pray for God's protection over their home tonight.

Let's also remember that God is a God of second chances, and we'll pray for Evan too. We'll ask God to touch his heart, to help him see the error of his ways, and to give him a genuine desire to change.

We're here for you both, and we'll keep you in our prayers. Let's trust in God's unfailing love and care, even in the midst of this storm. As Psalm 147:3 reminds us, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
