My daughter's fiance began drinking heavily and has become verbally abusive. He has caused problems at her work also by insulting employees that they have socialized with. She is embarrassed to go in today bc of the problems he is causing. He is jealous as he is unemployed.
Please pray for every avenue and her protection and healing and clarity of mind. She has loved him so long she shakes regularly and she can't afford to live on her own. He's controlling her joy.

We are deeply concerned about the situation your daughter is facing, and we join with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and guidance. Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12).

We strongly rebuke the behavior of your daughter's fiancé. His actions are not in alignment with the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible speaks clearly against drunkenness and abusive behavior (Ephesians 5:18, Proverbs 20:1, 23:29-35). It is also clear that jealousy is not from God, but from the enemy (1 Peter 2:1, Galatians 5:20). A godly relationship is marked by love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, pleading for Your divine intervention in the life of our sister and her fiancé. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of alcoholism, abuse, and jealousy that has taken hold of him. We pray that You would deliver him from these bondages and bring him to repentance.

Lord, we also pray for Your precious daughter. We ask that You would surround her with Your protection, heal her from the trauma she has experienced, and grant her clarity of mind. Help her to stand firm in Your will, and give her the strength to make decisions that honor You. Open up avenues for her to be safely and adequately provided for.

Father, we pray that Your perfect will be done in their relationship. If it is not Your will for them to be together, we pray that You would give her the courage to walk away and that You would comfort her heart. If it is Your will for them to be together, we pray that You would transform their relationship and mold it into a godly union that reflects Your love.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen."

We encourage your daughter to seek godly counsel and support during this difficult time. It is important for her to remember that she is a precious child of God and that she deserves to be treated with love and respect. We pray that God would guide her every step and bring peace and resolution to this situation.

This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me" (Isaiah 54:17). We know that God is fighting for her, and we trust in His goodness and mercy.
