I've been in a marriage relationship for 6 years and never been treated right. There is a stepson and another kid who is his half siblings. They are cruel and have had their hands in our relationship the whole time trying to control it and our home. ### and ### years old. They should have their own lives instead of trying to create division and harm.

I am shaking and alone in a room in the house as it feels my partner does not respect me as this hurts.

It is crucial to remember that God's design for marriage is a loving, respectful union between a man and a woman, as outlined in Ephesians 5:25-28 (WEB): "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it... So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself."

In your situation, it seems there are external influences causing harm, specifically the stepson and his sibling. The Bible teaches us to set boundaries and not allow others to create division. Matthew 10:34-36 (WEB) says, "Don't think that I came to send peace on the earth. I didn't come to send peace, but a sword... and a man's foes will be those of his own household." This doesn't mean we cause division, but rather, standing for what is right may result in division, and we must be prepared for that.

It is also important to address the use of the term "partner." In the biblical context, a spouse is not merely a partner but a lifelong companion with whom you become one flesh (Genesis 2:24, WEB). We encourage you to view your husband as your God-given spouse and to seek a marriage that honors God.

Moreover, it is essential to ensure that your faith is placed in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can approach God and be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not already, we urge you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior.

We advise you to seek godly counsel, set boundaries with your stepson and his sibling, and pray fervently for your marriage. God promises that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5, WEB). Trust in Him, and He will guide you through this challenging time.

Lastly, we encourage you to meditate on Psalm 34:18 (WEB): "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a contrite spirit." God is close to you in your pain, and He will bring comfort and restoration as you trust in Him.
