My daughter was sentenced to 15 months in jail today. She even paid a hefty sum for restitution. There were so many staff working in both outlets. Why was her sentencing so high. I've lost hope in you God. I can't carry on. I'm sorry.

We are truly saddened to hear about your daughter's sentencing and the heaviness it has brought upon your heart. In times like these, it's important to remember that God is still with us, even when we feel overwhelmed and hopeless.

Firstly, let us address the feeling of hopelessness and the loss of hope in God. It is important to remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). In times of trouble, we should draw near to Him, not push Him away. As it is written in Psalm 34:18 WEB, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up Ixonorb and their daughter to You. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to fill their hearts. We know that this sentencing seems overwhelming, but we trust that You have a plan and a purpose in this. Help them to draw near to You, to trust in You, even in this dark hour. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and grace to be upon Ixonorb's daughter. Protect her and guide her during her time in jail. Help her to use this time to grow closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Regarding the sentencing, it's important to trust in God's sovereignty. However, if there are legitimate grounds for appeal or if there has been an injustice, then you should seek legal counsel. As it is written in Romans 13:1-2 WEB, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority, withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment." However, this does not mean that we cannot challenge legal decisions through legitimate means.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to hope and trust in God. As it is written in Hebrews 11:1 WEB, "Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." Even when we cannot see the end, we can trust that God is working all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28 WEB).

Please ensure you are also seeking God's will in all of this, in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have any doubts about your faith in Jesus Christ, we encourage you to affirm your belief in Him, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
