We stand with you in prayer, dear brother or sister, lifting up your sister and your family before the throne of grace. We pray that her test results will show that she does not have the BRCA gene and that the cancer, if present, will be minor and easily treatable without the need for chemotherapy. We trust in the sovereign will of God, knowing that He loves her deeply and has a plan for her life.
Let us pray together:
"Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your love and mercy. Lord, we lift up our sister, asking that You would guide her medical team to choose the best options for her treatment. We pray that all cancer would be caught and eradicated quickly, with minimal side effects. We ask that You would give her peace and joy throughout this process, and that You would comfort her family as well. Please be with their mother, Lord, strengthening her emotionally and physically as she supports her daughter. We also pray that this trial would not be hereditary, Lord, and that Your healing power would be evident in their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18, WEB). If you have not already, we urge you to put your trust in Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have any doubts or questions about this, we encourage you to seek guidance and embrace the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We stand with you in faith, believing for the best outcome for your sister and your family. May God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
