We understand that you are facing urgency regarding sleep and rest, and you're also seeking God's protection and justice against enemies. Firstly, we are glad that you ended the prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have been made near to God and it is only through Jesus that we can be saved. For there is no other name given to mankind by which we must be saved. Let us delve into the Word of God for guidance and craft a prayer for you.
In Psalm 4:8 WEB, it is written, "I will both lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety." This verse reminds us that God is our ultimate protector and provider of rest. Additionally, in Psalm 127:2 WEB, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones." Trust that God will provide the sleep and rest you need.
Regarding enemies, Jesus taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44 WEB). Vengeance belongs to God alone (Romans 12:19 WEB), and we are not to take it upon ourselves to retaliate. Instead, we should pray for their salvation and reconciliation with God.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who is in need of rest and protection. Grant them the peace and sleep they need, knowing that you are their ultimate protector.
Lord, we also bring before you the enemies that seek to harm. We do not ask for retaliation, but for their hearts to be changed. Do not let them find rest until they turn their hearts to you, Lord. Save them and bring them to a right relationship with you.
We claim the promise in Isaiah 54:17 WEB, "But no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says the Lord.
Protect and guide this dear soul, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God is faithful and will hear your prayers, please keep in constant contact with God and keep praying. God will prevail in your situation.
