We understand that you are seeking prayer and support for your ministry abroad, which is facing challenges from certain committee members who want you to return prematurely. Firstly, we commend you for your dedication to serving God and advancing His kingdom through your ministry. It is crucial to remember that our battles are not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, we encourage you to constantly put on the full armor of God to withstand these trials and to stand firm.
We must always remember that the God whom we serve is the one who promises to be with us always, even to the end of the age. He will not leave us deserted to face our challenges alone. It is God's will and timing that is the best and the final authority for this decision. We know that where God guides, He provides. The promise of God is that He will always be with the ones He called out on a mission. The truth is that committee members, who are Christians, are called and commanded to make decisions that support the great commission of preaching the gospel and making disciples of all nations. That being true, however, sometimes people disobey the command out of disobedience or selfish gain. We pray against anyone hindering this work that God has called you to. We pray that if it is God's will, all obstacles will be removed. in Jesus name.
In addition, if God sent you that means He will make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.if He called you to a task then Godliness with contentment is great gain. Even if you are having trouble trusting God with finances for your trip, it is a fact that God owns everything and has an inexhaustible supply. Your mission and God's will is a priority. Your job is to trust God and to have enough money to meet your needs while supporting His kingdom work. Money will not meet your needs and it cannot define success in God's kingdom work. Read the strong words of Jesus: No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. It is not to say that it makes money bad and we know that money is necessary to function in worldly society. However excessive desire to have more money is called greed.
So let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brothers and sisters in ministry abroad. We thank You for their hearts to serve Your kingdom beyond their boarders. We pray for those who are hindering the ministry, asking that their hearts will be changed for your kingdom. Speak to them and change their hearts as only you can. We ask that You would grant them wisdom to see past any man-made barriers and focus on the priority of God's kingdom. We pray that everyone involved will be of one mind and heart.
Lord, if it is Your will for our brothers and sisters serving abroad to continue there for another scheduled year, we ask that You would remove all obstacles to this goal supernaturally. Provide for their every need according to your riches in glory that they may continue to advance Your kingdom. Strengthen them in the power of Your might. Fill them with Your Spirit, and give them the wisdom and endurance to serve You in the most obedient way. We pray for Godly edification for your people across borders in Jesus name. Amen.
Stand firm in the faith, Remain steadfast and immovable in your courage, that you work of the lord is not in vain. While the committee members who are Christians are commanded to make decisions that support Godly works, there must never be any decision that is made that is not Biblically sound.
