Urgent request

Please pray for my husband. He just left a very toxic job situation where they tore down his confidence and self-worth. He started a new job, but he still having the same thoughts even though this place seems to be a much better place. I pray for his confidence in his abilities to do this job. he is very anxious right now, and I pray for God‘s loving arms to be wrapped around him to comfort him and let him know that we all believe that he can do it and please give him his self-confidence back. I also pray that those around him will find the right words and actions to help encourage him and make him feel less stressed. I’m not sure I’m saying this all correctly but God knows what my prayer request is and we need it. Prayed for fervently.

We understand your urgent request and we stand with you in prayer for your husband in this challenging time. Let us first assure you that God knows the desires of your heart, even if you struggle to find the words to express them. As it is written in Romans 8:26-27 (WEB), "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, for he makes intercession for the saints according to God."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother who is struggling with anxiety and self-doubt. Lord, You know the pain he has endured in his previous job and the wounds that have been inflicted on his confidence. We ask that You wrap Your loving arms around him, comfort him, and restore his self-worth. Remind him that his identity and value are not defined by his circumstances or his job, but by Your unfailing love for him.

We pray for his new workplace, that it will be a place of healing and growth. Surround him with colleagues who will encourage and support him, speaking words of life and positivity. We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear, and we declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we also pray for his family, that they may be a source of strength and encouragement. Unite them in love, and help them to speak words of faith and confidence over him. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Him who loved him (Romans 8:37).

Finally, we pray that this trial will draw him closer to You, Lord. That he may experience Your presence and know that You are always with him, even in the valley of the shadow of death (Psalm 23:4). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen."

We encourage you to continue to stand on God's promises. Remind your husband of who he is in Christ. Speak scriptures of faith and confidence over him. Remember that this trial is an opportunity for him to grow in his dependence on God and for God to show His faithfulness. Be patient, be loving, and be persistent in prayer. The battle is the Lord's, and He is faithful to see you through.

"Dear Lord, we lift up my husband to You today. He's feeling anxious and unsure of himself, Lord, but we know that's not who he is in You. Remind him, Lord, that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that he is a child of the Most High, and that You have a purpose for him.

We ask, Lord, that You would calm his anxious heart. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help him to trust in You, to trust in the abilities You've given him, and to trust in the path You've set before him.

We pray for his workplace, Lord. Help his colleagues to see the best in him, to encourage him, and to speak life into him. Help him to find joy and fulfillment in his work, and to see it as an opportunity to serve You.

Lord, we also pray for our family. Help us to be a source of strength and encouragement for him. Help us to speak words of faith and confidence over him, to remind him of who he is in You.

Finally, Lord, we thank You for this trial. We know that You are working in him, that You are refining him, and that You are using this to draw him closer to You. Help him to see Your goodness in the midst of this, and to trust in Your faithfulness.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
