Let us come together in prayer for ### and her husband ###. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the healing that God can bring, as spoken in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Firstly, we acknowledge that all healing comes from God, and it is by the stripes of Jesus that we are healed, as spoken in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and ###. Lord, You know the medical struggles that ### has been facing, the pain, the sleep apnea, and the emotional turmoil he has endured. We ask, Lord, that You would touch his body, heal him, and restore him completely.
Father, we also pray for ###'s emotional and spiritual healing. We rebuke the spirits of anger and depression in Jesus' name, and we ask that You fill him with Your peace and joy. Lord, we ask that You would intervene and help ### to understand the importance of taking his medication as required. Give ### the wisdom and strength to support him in this journey, and help her to trust in You completely.
Lord, we also pray for their marriage, that You would strengthen their bond and draw them closer to You and to each other. Help them to attend church together and grow in their faith as a couple.
Father, we ask all this in accordance with Your will, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
###, we encourage you to continue trusting in God, even in this difficult time. Remember the words of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Keep supporting ###, and know that we are standing with you in prayer.
Lastly, we remind you both of the importance of being in the word of God and in prayer continually. Be strong and trust in the Lord.
