We are truly moved by your urgent request for your husband's healing and the challenges you both are facing. Let us come to God in prayer and seek Scripture to guide us in this time of need.
Firstly, it is wonderful that you acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your request. As it is only by His name that we have access to God. For there is no other name by which we can be saved. This is in line with the scripture:
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you the builders, which was made the head of the corner. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:10-12 WEB
We will pray fervently for your husband's physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. God's will is always good, and we believe in His power to heal and restore according to His will.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, You know the medical issues, pain, and suffering he has endured. We pray for Your healing touch on his body, especially his sleep apnea and aortic aneurysm. We ask that You guide him to take his medications as required and attend all his medical appointments.
We also pray for his emotional and spiritual healing. Deliver him from extreme anger and depression, Lord. Fill him with Your peace and joy. We ask that You intervene, Holy Spirit, and work in his life, drawing him closer to You.
Father, we ask that You help our sister be supportive and grow in all ways as she cares for her husband. Give her the strength, wisdom, and patience she needs. We pray that they will be able to attend church together and grow in their faith as a couple.
We stand in agreement, believing that it is God's will to heal and restore. We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Regarding attendance at medical appointments, remind your husband that his body is the temple of the Holy Spirit:
Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB
For refusing medications, we should obey and cooperate with the authorities. This includes medical professionals:
Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority, withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment. Romans 13:1-2 WEB
Lastly, be encouraged by these words:
Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 WEB
Keep loving and supporting your husband, knowing that God is working in both of your lives. Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
