We understand that you are seeking urgent prayers for someone special to you, and we are here to stand with you in intercession. We appreciate that you have brought this request in the name of Jesus, as it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and can be saved. As it is written, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Firstly, let's address the issues of being tormented, angry, and stubborn. It is important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, we need to put on the full armor of God so that we can take our stand against the devil's schemes (Ephesians 6:11-13 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved individual who is experiencing torment, anger, and stubbornness. We know that Your heart, Father, is for them to find true peace, adjustment, joy, and happiness in You.
We rebuke the spirits of torment, anger, and stubbornness in Jesus' name, commanding them to flee gently and swiftly. We pray that You would fill this person with Your Holy Spirit, granting them the fruits of peace, patience, kindness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB).
Help them to adjust to their new schedule, Lord, and to find contentment in Your will for their life. May Your loving-kindness lead them to repentance if there are any areas where they need to turn back to You (Romans 2:4 WEB). Provide strength and hope in times of stress and trials, so this person will have the courage to take heart and wait on the Lord.
Lord, we ask that you would reveal yourself to them in a real way and that you would quicken their conscience to be sensitive to your spirit, so they would experience the conviction of sin, righteousness, and judgment. We ask that you would grant them repentance and lead them to the knowledge of the truth, so they may escape from under the control of Satan.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in Your promise that when we ask according to Your will, You hear us (1 John 5:14-15 WEB).
We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for this person and to trust in the Lord's perfect will for their life. Let us abide in Christ and His words abide in us. Ask what you will in Jesus' name, and it will be done for you (John 15:7 WEB).
The Lord has great plans for this person. We encourage you to look at the cost of becoming a disciple of Christ. This means that we must count the cost of what it means to follow Jesus.
