We are lifting up this urgent prayer request to you, Lord Jesus, as we are commanded to come to the Father in Your name. You told us, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full" (WEB John 16:23-24).
We do not know the specifics of this urgent need, but You, Lord, know all things. You search all hearts, and You understand all the intent of the thoughts (1 Chronicles 28:9). We stand in the gap and pray for the person who submitted this request, relying on the Holy Spirit to intercede for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26).
We pray for Your divine intervention, dear Lord, in this urgent situation. We ask for Your protection, guidance, and provision. We declare that no weapon that is formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment they will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We also take this opportunity to remind everyone that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is
Jesus who can hold their hand in the time of need,
Jesus who is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them (Hebrews 7:25).
We pray that You, Lord Jesus, will reveal Yourself to them in a deeper way through this situation. We ask that Your will be done in their life and that they will find peace and comfort in Your presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In times of urgency, it is important to remember that God is always in control. Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
If the urgency is a result of sin, please remember that if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Turn to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).
Stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong (1 Corinthians 16:13)!
