Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up strawberry1 and the daughter in prayer. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask for Your divine intervention in this challenging situation.
Father, we know that each person is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we trust in Your plans for this young woman. We pray for a softening of her heart, that she may turn away from stubbornness and disrespect, and instead embrace wisdom and understanding. Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." We ask that the seeds of good teaching and love that have been planted in her life take root and bear fruit.
Lord, we also pray for strength and patience for strawberry1. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." May strawberry1 feel Your peace and comfort in this difficult time, knowing that You are in control.
We rebuke any spiritual attacks from the enemy and declare that no weapon formed against this family will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround this household with Your angels, Lord, and fill it with Your Holy Spirit. Let Your light dispel any darkness that tries to take hold.
We pray for the daughter’s success in her summer school class and for her to pass her regents exam next month. Give her the motivation and discipline she needs to achieve her goals. In Jeremiah 29:11, You promise, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." We claim this promise over her life.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
