Urgent prayer

Praying that this man that God brought back into my life is in love with me and does want to marry me.

We are grateful for your prayer request and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and this relationship. Firstly, we would like to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12

Now regarding this man that God has brought back into your life, and your concerns about whether he loves you and desires to marry you. We must ask, is this a godly man seeking to live his life for Christ and according to scripture? Have you both been seeking God's will for your lives individually and as a couple? Remember, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB

It is also important to trust in God's timing and not rush into things. We must be patient and not try to force our own will or desires. "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh." Psalm 27:14 WEB

We must also be careful not to idolize marriage or put our hope in a man rather than God. "It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to put confidence in man." Psalm 118:8 WEB

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who has brought this request before us. We ask that You reveal Your will for her life and for this relationship. Help her to fix her eyes on You and not on the desires of her heart. If this man is indeed the spouse You have chosen for her, we pray that Your will be done and that Your timing be perfect. Help them both to walk in purity and holiness, fleeing from all sexual immorality. We ask you to remove any obstacles that may hinder them from living according to Your will.

If this man is not Your will for her, we ask that You reveal this to her and give her the strength to walk away. Comfort her heart and help her to trust in You completely.

Help her to be patient and not to rush ahead of Your will. Give her Your peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
