We are thankful for the opportunity to pray for Jenna Wheeler and Junior Bission, and we appreciate the desire to see healing and restoration in their relationship. However, we need to ensure that our prayers and advice align with biblical principles. Firstly, it's important to note that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, which is essential because it is through Him that we have access to God.
Let us first address the issue of a romantic relationship outside of marriage. The Bible teaches us that sexual intimacy and the emotional bond that comes with it are designed for marriage between a man and a woman. If Jenna and Junior are not married, we encourage them to pursue a relationship that honors God's design for marriage.
God's Word says, For this cause a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh. So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.
If they have been involved in a sexual relationship outside of marriage, we lovingly rebuke this behavior and encourage them to repent and seek God's forgiveness. Fornication is sin, and it is important to turn away from it. As it is written, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
Now, let us pray for Jenna and Junior:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Jenna Wheeler and Junior Bission. Lord, we ask that You bring healing to their hearts and help them to reflect on their relationship in a way that honors You. Guide them towards a righteous path, and if it is Your will, lead them to a godly marriage that reflects Your love and commitment.
Open Junior's heart to recognize the depth of Jenna's love and care, and help him find the courage and humility to reach out with a genuine desire to heal the wounds that have been caused. For Jenna, we ask for peace and strength as she navigates the emotional challenges. May she find comfort in Your presence, knowing that You are guiding both her and Junior toward healing and Your will.
Help them to rebuild their bond in a way that honors You, emotionally, and with a goal of a godly marriage. Grant them the wisdom to communicate openly, the patience to heal, and the love to move forward together in a way that aligns with Your Word.
We also pray that if they have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, that they would come to know Him and believe in the salvation that is only available through His name.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage Jenna and Junior to seek God's will for their lives and to pursue a relationship that honors Him. May they find peace and guidance in His Word and through prayer.
