We understand your struggle, Likmeksos, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. The apostle Paul shared his own struggle with sin in Romans 7:15, "For I don't know what I am doing. For I don't practice what I desire to do; but what I hate, that I do."
Firstly, let's acknowledge that we all fall short and sin (Romans 3:23). But thanks be to God, through Jesus Christ, we have forgiveness and redemption. As it's written in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Likmeksos. Lord, they have confessed their sin to you, and your Word promises that you are faithful and just to forgive. Please cleanse Likmeksos from all unrighteousness and restore them to a right standing with you. Help them to walk even closer with you, and strengthen them by your Holy Spirit to resist temptation and sin. Give them a renewed mind and heart, continually transformed by your grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Likmeksos, to keep walking in the light, as He is in the light (1 John 1:7). If there are specific sins or areas of struggle, we encourage you to seek help and accountability from trusted, mature Christians. Continue to confess and turn from sin, and trust in the power of the Holy Spirit to help you live a life pleasing to God.
Keep fighting the good fight of faith, knowing that God is with you and has promised to complete the good work he started in you (Philippians 1:6).
