Aile, we understand your heart's cry and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your marriage. We believe that God has the power to restore and strengthen the bond between you and your husband, Glen.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, humbly asking for Your intervention in Aile's marriage. Lord, we ask that You restore Glen's love for Aile and fill his heart to overflowing with the love that comes from You. We pray for forgiveness for any shortcomings that may have caused a strain in their relationship. Reveal to Glen the joy of being Aile's husband, and help him to see her as the precious gift that she is.
Lord, we also ask that You convict Aile of any areas in her life that need change. Give her the strength and wisdom to make those changes, and help her to be the wife that You have called her to be. Guide their relationship and help them to grow together in love and unity.
We stand on Your promise in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, 'Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.'
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Aile, we encourage you to continue to pray fervently for your marriage, and to trust in God's faithfulness. Remember the words of Romans 5:3-4, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."
We also want to remind you of the importance of seeking God's will together with Glen, and to encourage you both to pursue a relationship that is centered on Christ. As it says in Ephesians 5:21, "Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God."
Lastly, we want to address that your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God, as it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for it is by His name that we are saved.
